you're working way too hard at this as I said, I simply can't believe that within the framework of a Giannis trade, there would be enough value in surplus assets floating around that would warrant the Blazers sending out Milwaukee's 2029 first as for the pick swaps: https://www.theringer.com/2022/10/12/nba/nba-draft-swap-picks
in reply to that trade proposal, I said this at RealGM: Sam Quinn can go pound an acre of sand with his forehead. Fuggin idiotic trade
Hell no Way way too much. So tired of seeing proposals like this that fleece us like we are just here for spare parts. Fuck that. The Milwaukee pick better not be moved unless we get gold. This year's pick better be used wisely too in any trade.
It really comes down to if Milwaukee wants to send us more value than their picks are worth to us for us to return them. The Nets did that with Houston. In theory there's a rational for it, Milwaukee can then tank and get the benefits of their own picks. Their not going to tank if we get the pick. So in theory the pick should be worth more to Milwaukee than us. Will they give us enough value to have the trade make sense from our end? Who knows - it's possible and happens sometimes in similar situations. But it often doesn't happen.
Who says no? Wizards may need Rupert and another 2nd rounder. Ant, Tou, Deni, Giannis, Clingan (Brogdan), Green, Middleton, Thybulle, RobWill/Reath
Kinda interesting! We’re handing back valuable swaps, giving up young talent, but keeping our own (and Celtic’s) FRPs.
Durant, Giannis, Celtics starters, plus key players from Wolves Thunder Knicks Pacers, whoever doesn't win it all, will be on the move. This is gunna be an interesting summer
probably and the list could include Trae Young & Devin Booker. Max salaries + 2nd Apron is having a big impact
