So its better to build a team by trades than the draft?

Yes if you can convince teams to trade you a stud young star, sure.

Actually Nuggets Heat final two years ago might have even been lower overall draft picks. Yes Murray/Gordon were 6/7. But two guys were undrafted, Butler 30, Jokic 42, Bruce Brown 46 all the others in the middle of the first round.

Indiana lieutenant governor warned "the rainbow beast is coming for your kids". Said someone is trying to replace scripture with Harvey Milk, which is news to me. Also Pride Month is child sacrifice.

Yeah this will probably get flagged as political but they were never going to stop at overturning Roe, it just wasn't going to happen. If you aren't in lock step with this very rigid way of thinking you better be ready to have your rights stripped from you... that is if these people have their way which I'm still hopeful will not happen. Unfortunately I think the LGBTQ community losing the rights that you've gained isn't the breaking point for a lot of people, it should be but women's rights in general should have been, restricting what parts of our history are taught should have been, etc.

Oddly enough I think the stupidity of what's happening right now economically might be the only thing that saves a lot of civil rights, hopefully restores those that have already been taken and ultimately allows us to further realize equal rights that have never been a reality.

Yeah I think Knicks would much prefer this over the Ayton 11 16 idea I floated that some posters thought was an overpay.

Poor Kings fans. They had Fox and Haliburton at guard and now they have Lavine.

Nope not giving up Towns but the Suns can have Bridges back.

    Brunson/Hart/OG/KD/Towns

    Size up the rings!

Lamar Odom making a run for most disappointing story about an NBA player from recent generation. But I think Delonte West might still have that title.

Older times it’s still gotta be Len Bias.

Chet was the highest pick ion this years finals. SGA & Haliburton both went 11, I believe. Mathurin went 6.

I wish Portland could ever get their hands on a GM who could build a team with late draft picks like this...

    24-25 all NBA team

    Mitchell - 13th pick
    Giannis - 15th
    SGA - 11th
    Joker - 41st
    Tatum -3rd

    ALL D first team
    Daniels 8th
    Dort - undrafted
    Green - 35th
    Mobley - 3rd
    Amen Thompson - 4th

With players coming out 1 and done it tough to project immediate suer stars let alone all stars. Some of these guys wrestle not deemed generational picks and super stars in the making. In fact most of them. I worked in Milwaukee when they selected Giannis and nobody thought immediate Allstar or supper.

Hell, Sharpe and Scoot could be those guys in 3/4 years. Maybe even clinging Allstar in 3 years.
