Sorry, I accidently posted that before I was done.

I get what you're saying. But I'd be excited about this. Honestly, do the regular game as well as the US vs World game. Not sure how you pick what game to play first.

And I agree with you about Deni. Was just joking about Sharpe (so far). But he may get there eventually...

I've been a big fan of the in season tournament - it's 100x better than all star games.

82 games is to repetitive so I'm all for a few different things during the season. I'd prefer 65-70 games but sure seems like the NBA has zero interest of that.

I'd be for doing some sort of mid season tournament instead of the All Star game. Winning team get guaranteed something (playin, playoffs, HCA) etc

I'm not a fan of the in season tournament. Not that I'm opposed to it. I just don't care. I probably care as little or less about it as I do the All Star game.

But yeah, I get what you're saying.

Lol learn from baseball. Don't make stupid things like that. Learn. Never suggest that again.

for the second potenial 1st rounder from detroit. the nets reported asking price for johnson alone was 2 firsts, taking on the additional year and much higher salary of grant plus pick nineteen and #36 in this draft is under pay imho, a protected first from detroit would balance the scales and would return an expiring in harris instead of another power fwd needing minutes to be happy. those were my thoughts on why detroit would need to be included.

What about instead of an all-star game, you had old school "All-Madden" teams which consisted of players with "grit", like Camara and Deni.

That's fine but it should be an addition not a replacement. Diminishes the history of the all star game nods.

There you have it. An inflammatory remark from someone whose job is to moderate. This is not about differing opinions. It’s about attacking the person who made a perfectly valid comment. Sly? I will gladly put him on ignore if you allow me to.

    Is this a legit source?
I would have expected this to be all over the webs... but in my brief check - I don't see anything.

Example of moderate version for Stren’s post:

I don’t think that would work. We should learn from baseball.

The “lol” plus the use of “stupid” and telling the person to “never do” something again is absolutely a “cut” and it landed as such. I don’t like being talked to like that. Now look up the word “moderate.”

He is also here as a member and is allowed to have an opinion. You are welcome to suggest the idea again. I don't think you can put a moderator on ignore. Though maybe.

I would be so very happy if ESPN got rid of Stephen A Smith. I can’t stand him. I refuse to watch any pregame or postgame shows during these playoffs that he’s on. And when he is on anything I can’t hit the mute button or turn the channel fast enough.
