yup, I doubt teams are trying for Deni or Camara as Portland has every reason not to deal them and all the leverage. I voted for Ant as he's both in play being in the last year of his contract and has some talent and value as a 3 point threat

I picked Camara and Sharpe. Just because Portland recently gave up a bunch to get Deni.

We probably wouldn't deal Camara either, but I can see teams calling about him.

It's kind of an unclear question.... as teams would be less likely to call on players we are unlikely to consider trading. They might call on a player we are likely to trade even if they prefer 6 other Blazers over him.

Kind of think OP might have meant what Blazer would other teams most want to trade for?

Id think some sort of order such as Deni, Camara, Scoot, Sharpe, Clingan, Ant, Thybulle, Timelord, Ayton, Rupert, Reath, Murray, Grant.

Cronin is just silly enough he might listen and if Kohl as we suspect has his hands in this too he is so fucking stupid he might hear about it and tell Cronin to do it specially if it saves the Blazers money.

I doubt anyone is worried about any savings outside of staying out of the luxury tax. Especially now that the team is up for sale.

It sounded to me like at the trade deadline Kolde wanted us to stay as competitive as possible and since Tou and Deni have the best stats both basic and advanced, I doubt he'd sign off on a trade for either of them. Then when you bring up money, both Tou and Deni have the best contracts.

Shaedon, he's not concreted in as yet so teams will try and entice with a decent caliber player/and or picks? Might be a way to get rid of one of the bad contracts too. Grant/Ayton

From what I understand he had a very good workout and discussion with brass. Wasn't Pritchard high on KD and it was Paul who was bent on Greg?

I see a lot of Deni and Toumani mentioned, but I would think Sharpe would be most asked about. He has a lot of unrealized potential and a team would have more control/years with his future contract. That being said said I would be open to trading Deni since he will be UFA, but only if we know he wants out. Toumani is a keystone piece for a lot of teams so he is currently worth more than the value of his contract which makes it hard to trade him. Ofcourse if any offer is too good, then the team better explore the option to trade, but I wouldn’t hold my breath.

I think the main advantage of Deni Camara is their cheap contracts. Sharpe will be a free agent next summer. If a team gives up picks for Sharpe their kind of in a shit negotiation position with Sharpe agent. They might even need to consider giving him close to the max.

But I think it also depends on the team. A rebuilding team would probably want Sharpe for the upside. A contender would want Deni/Camara since theyd already have their stars.

For sure, I am on the same page with you I just give Sharpe an edge because a team will have more control of his futures. Reagardles those are the only three any good GM would actually want from our team.

Pretty presumptuous to think any player on the Blazers is getting interest. Kinda feel like the Blazers are the ones calling with hat in hand.

When the sales pitch for a guy that people want to trade is that he is young, full of potential, on a good contract, etc, it sounds to me like someone we would want to trade FOR. It's not like they are blocking important playing time (like Ant is), being way overpaid for their production (like Ayton), stopped giving max effort (Grant), unavailable because of injury (Williams) or just not going anywhere (Jabari, Murray, BANTON, Minaya, Reath). The focus of the front office should be solely on moving those vets for as much as possible while hanging onto the young core. If any of Deni, Tou, Sharpe, Scoot or DC get moved it just creates another hole to fill.
I don't know if it's boredom or some personal bias that makes it so easy to just throw out any of those names as a trade option. I'd rather dump the vets for pennies on the dollar, acquire some young pieces for the bench and start building continuity for the future.

Agreed. I wouldn't trade Deni, Sharpe, or Camara unless it made us a contender right now, or somehow gave us like 5 first rounders.

That would have to be a hell of a trade.

? could have been...I remember an interview with Pritch right after the workout and he seemed very happy with his performance, but the thing that stood out to me was he said "Durant has the eye of the Tiger".

My original post is not about advocating for trading Deni and Camara. It's what we think other teams view the players on the Blazers. I agree we shouldn't trade Deni and Tou, and we should trade Ant, Grant, and Ayton. I just think that contract size and versatility make Deni and Camara more desirable to more teams than Ant, Grant, and Ayton.

The ones we better not give up. And if we do???
Maybe some teams are trying to lowball us for JG and Williams. Thats about it though.
