On first watch, some of those baseline spin moves looked impressive.

On second watch, I realized just how terrible most of the defenders were, lol...

Could be of course. But that showed me the size of this market. And economically it will definitely be good business.

    Yang under pressure:
Suppose that Yang becomes a starter, or perhaps even a rotation player. Excited, 1 in every 1000 of his countrymen buy a jersey. That's 1.4 million jerseys sold. Wow!

Zach Lowe made a segment about us being potentially sneaky good. He has no worries with our pic. Bill Simmons has more to say about Kendrick Perkins and the awful coverage by ESPN (thanks to him for saying it out loud) than our pick. At least there is thag. And BS called Yang «Russillo's guy».

Spoke yesterday with an agent who was at the combine. He know how close I am to the Blazers. And said Yang was fantastic during the combine and said it's a good pick. But it's only one guy's opinion...

Yang summarized on sirius nba by ex coach

    can make layups
    Can jump
    Well coached
Poor wrist strength so loses balls
Horrible jump shot, more of a push shot
Horrible horrible on defense. Esp. Switches.

basically said he would only be playable in select scenarios.

For my money, this would be an absolute dream scenario. It's hard to imagine such a big transaction, but they all seem doable individually. Our second unit wouldn't be far behind the starters in any configuration.

I think the best way to look at this is we flipped with another team for a future first and got a couple seconds for it. Forget about Yang. Think about him as a G league invite and anything he does is a bonus.

Kinda feels like they might trade Clingan in a deal? Jaren Jackson Jr?

Trading Clingan might be what makes most sense at some point.

Yeah, I went with what makes sense for all the teams involved and rumors I heard. Bulls are looking to deal Ball, Nuggets MPJ and GSW wants to get rid of Kuminga and needs a C.
Ball can be a backup, and is expiring if he does not pan out. But having another two lanky guys in MPJ and Kuminga on top of what we already have would be good.

Yes. Family names are usually tied to some historical dynasty. Ming Dynasty. Similarly, the reason you see so many Vietnamese Nguyens is because it was the last dynasty of the country.

Good deal other than Ball. Never bring a guy with knee troubles to Portland. Though he is expiring. Probably should keep Banton around just in case.

I like the prospect of adding MPJ and Kuminga.
