Duop contract has $0 guaranteed and can be cut with zero cap hit until Aug 1st.

I had assumed we'd cut him, but after seeing Yang talk about him in his press conference I'm wondering if the Blazers might lean towards keeping him.

I don't mind keeping him. He can play the 4, can shoot, inexpensive.

so, Ive seen two different things in this thread....that the Blazers are using part of the MLE; and that it's a vet minimum deal. Big difference between the two. Anybody know for sure what the situation is?

I doubt anyone on here can provide any onfo that is more than speculation. This is player contract we're talking about. Heck we don't even know for sure we'd keep him

Walker played at C in front of him. I think he's gone. He'll have the g-league game winner to remember.

I'm now betting big that Duop comes back. While I'm a fan of Clingan, every one of our centers has major question marks.

....and he knows Yang from the CBA when Yang was practicing with/against the team but was too young to play.

Might he be Yang's closest friend in the NBA? Haven't heard of any other NBA player he has experience with.

They have to play “Mmmmbop Duop” if Hansen ever gets an assist to Reath or vice versa.
