Oscar Robertson and Lew Alcindor was my introduction to the NBA when I was but a wee lad. They got me hooked.
For me it was Meadowlark Lemon and the Globe Trotters then Pistol Pete and then Walton. My mom took me to see the Globe Trotters every year in Sioux City when I was a kid
When I was young I worked hard at dribbling between my legs...now that I'm old I work hard at not dribbling between my legs.
Where? Link? I haven't seen a retraction. Edit: Yeah, Fentress and Marang IMO aren't the best sources... I personally wouldn't trust a word Marang says. At this point it's a he said, he said.
I have a CBA question I'm unclear on: Dame's contract: with Ayton's buyout we've kind of covered what his new deal with LAL does to his buy-out and the cap impact for Portland but the Bucks simply waived Dame leaving his deal in place, as is. My question is if Dame signs a new deal. say for example a 2-year/10M deal at 5M a year, is that 5M each year simply folded into his existing contract? In other words, he wouldn't get 54.12M + 5M, just 54.12M. Or is the 5M found money and a bonus on top of the 54.12M?
However you slice it. Dame got a sweet deal with 22 mil and change per year until he’s 40 years old to not play at all if he wishes given his age and his Achilles….super lucky dude
Reminds me of when Canzano told me to come over and compare paychecks with him when I called him out on some bullshit blazers take. I told him it’d be bigger but I’m still paying his mom child support.
pretty sure that's just the cap impact of Milwaukee. Dame still gets paid according to his contract...2-years/113M
Disagree. He can protect the rim and shoot 3s. Super rare center skill set. If it's a team with a ton of 3pt shooting it may not matter but Giannis is a great big to pair that skill set with. That's worth 20-30mil going forward. Problem for Bucks is they have 50+mil on their cap for these two moves and don't have a 2nd or 3rd starter. Turner is good for the 4th or 5th starter.
