Because Portland loves injury prone players.

Presumably because even an injured player can be a DEFENSIVE mentor

I'm curious about the WNBA balls at the PF. Do they just always have those on hand? Or were they there for something coming up with the new team?

I think we found our 3rd string pG. Jrue's son. How old is he? He looks like he is about 4. He made two shots in a row and he is not much bigger than the ball.

No wonder the Blazers can't make 3's in-game. They've been practicing with WNBA balls.

Getting Jrue for our last remaining Olshey player is sweet. I’m loving this move. A true leader

He said “nice to meet you”. Which doesn’t mean he doesn’t know who Brian is. Just that he’s never met him before

But he also got Brian's name off him, which does suggest he didn't know who he was. Maybe he's not good with faces? A lot of people have face blindness. I find it hard to believe he wouldn't have known Grant as a player.

Jrue's kids should be super athletes. His wife is a former starter on the USWNT (soccer).

Maybe he didnt follow the NBA as a kid that closely? BG is 18 years older than Jrue.

Jrue wasn't even six when BG played his last game. I don't think there are many five year olds that know who a guy getting 12 minutes per game over only 21 games is... the season before that BG was getting 16.5 minutes per game with the Lakers... I don't think any 4 year olds know who NBA bench players are.

Huh? Jrue was like 16 when BG played his last game.

Point can still stand though, most people aren't as dedicated about knowing every player as people that post on forums.
