I'd say you can't definitively take away a judgement on a single player.

But there's certainly things you can take away. You can see how players move and the skills they can display. Doesn't mean guys who play well wont suck in the NBA or the other way around.

Ron Holland, a guy I was hoping we could draft last year, had 6 steals, but 7 turnovers!

Is there an age limit to Summer League or can Giannis just decide to do it if he wanted to?

Was rewatching footage again and saw Chauncey’s interview during game 1.

Anyone else read into his comments about Holiday?

Something along the lines of how “he can still play” and “he’s not being brought in just to be an assistant coach.”
But what really caught me was “who better to raise” Scoot and Shae. These comments were made after Dame hit the FA market. Billups was speaking a lot about defense, and Jrue is definitely a great fit for that role with these guys.

Nique Clifford with another nice game, 19 points. 7 rebounds, 9 assists with only one turnover.

He was the only player I wanted in the draft. Nobody else really stood out to me (in our range).

I was really hoping we’d get rid of those jerseys this coming year.

Our "points" determine if we move on after tonight's game, correct?

    https://www.espn.com/nba-summer-league/standings

looks like I found the answer:
After every team has four games under their belt, the four teams with the best records (with tiebreaking rules in effect to determine who those teams are) will move on to the Summer League semifinals, and the winners of those two games will play for the Summer League Championship. While the semifinals and finals are going on, the remaining 26 teams will play consolation games to ensure every team gets a total of five matchups, breaking down to 75 games total, with the 76th being the championship game on July 20.

Doesn't look good for us to advance to the semifinals regardless if we win tonight.

I can't see them moving on with 8 teams still undefeated. You would think at least 4 of them would remain undefeated. Although I have not looked to see if they play each other.

I don't know why they just don't do a simple set up of having two conferences. W and E.

Each conference has 15 teams, and each team plays 7 games (which I think makes it easier to have a top 4 teams), and then the top 4 teams play single elimination. Then you just have the top two teams play for the title.

So min of 7 games, max of 10 (? maybe its 9).

It's not like they don't make money hand over first with the summer league now.
