    It’s basically Thybulle/RW3 for DK

I kind of like Thybulle and Timelord on the court as well as with our new defensive identity. But if you can get a useful player locked into a rookie deal for two additional seasons, and your only sending out expiring contracts, I think Joe has to pull the trigger.

If Thybulle plays well he won't be underpaid next season.

    Clingan - Yang
    Deni - Grant
    Camara - Knecht
    Sharpe - (Dame)
    Jrue - Scoot

Theres not really a clear role for Thybulle or Timelord anyways. Knecht fits the shooting need we have this year without Dame.

It does make sense from the Lakers end as they desperately need defense and don't benefit from Knecht shooting much. Also trading him away then cancelling the trade can't be good for his long term motivation as a member of that team. Yes saves the Lakers some $ too.

I dont mean it as a dig at you at all, but I am consistently confused as to why and how fake accounts get posted here. Like...you follow Shams on twitter, right? So where are you grabbing this shams twitter grab from?

I guess I shouldn't assume anything with all the 'parody account'' BS these days....but, the +more of that will be interesting. Probably Kleber

but if the Lakers are able to add Brooks, Richards, Smart, LaRavia, and Ayton this summer while only really losing Knecht & Vincent from the back end of their rotation it's a pretty solid off-season

Haven't the Lakers already waived Shake Milton? So I call bullshit.

He knows those locker rooms inside and out, so he can lead other teams into them from the back way when he hosts a coo....

    It's a Twitter account with 394,000 followers.

Or maybe it was just 394 followers

I can see the appeal for that trade, but I am not sure it makes us better. I agree that Knecht has the potential to be an upgrade on offense off the bench, but who would he take minutes away from? Is he a better overall player than, say, Rupert? Offensively, he is, but defensively, he is not. I guess we could play them together.

Knecht: 6'5.25" without shoes, with a 6'9" wingspan and a 212.2 pound weight. He also had a 39-inch vertical jump and a standing reach of 8'10.50".

    Rupert: 6′ 6.00” barefoot, 8′ 10.00” standing reach, 205 lbs, and a 7′ 3.00” wingspan and a 32.5′ inch max vertical at the 2023 NBA Draft Combine …

Yeah for next season I'd rather have Timelord and Thybulle on the court.

Yeah, it's not a Grant scenario where you might want to take the deal to get out of his contract. They would need to see something they like in Knecht long-term. But I agree if we are talking this next season, they are better off with Thybulle and Williams. It's not likely either would return a FRP at the deadline, and clearing their salary next summer is helpful.

Jesus, the Clippers are really just the NBA Old Folks/Washed Up home

    James Harden
    Kawaii Leonard
    Chris Paul
    Bradley Beal
    Ben Simmons
    Bogdan Bogdanović
    Nic Batum
    Brook Lopez

10 years ago that would have been a super team. Now.... they have to watch out for broken hips.
