    Kind of thought we might play in China.... Perhaps the NBA wants to wait a year until Yang is a more proven player

    Four-game slate includes two home games at Moda Center on Oct. 10 and Oct. 14-

    PORTLAND, Ore. (July 21, 2025) – The Portland Trail Blazers today announced they will tip-off their four-game 2025-26 preseason schedule with a road contest against the Golden State Warriors on Wednesday, Oct. 8 at 7 p.m. PT. A first of two matchups against the Warriors during the preseason slate.

    The Trail Blazers will then return home to Moda Center for two straight home games, first with the Sacramento Kings coming to town on Friday, Oct. 10 at 7 p.m. PT before welcoming the Warriors to town on Tuesday, Oct. 14 at 7 p.m. PT.

    Portland will conclude its preseason schedule on Thursday, Oct. 16 at 6 p.m. PT as they travel to take on division foe, Utah Jazz.

    You didn’t hear it from me….but hearing from some of my sources that 2 of these game MIGHT be broadcasted locally. But what do I know?

    There needs to be another preseason game at the MC. That was fun when the Blazers did it 10-12 years ago.

    Prediction: Next year, with Dame being back playing, the Blazers will get a Christmas Day game.

    I miss when the Blazers use to come play a preseason game here in Central Oregon every couple of years. Now we can't even watch them unless we buy another streaming service. Oh well, frees up a lot of time I guess..

    Yang got 4x the ratings in SL over Flagg. Also higher ratings in China than playoff games.

    There's 5 games, 10 teams, so a third of the league... plenty of room for both.

    I'm not guaranteeing the Blazers have a Christmas game - but theres a chance.

    There more Chinese Americans than any other Asian group.

    The Christmas games are televised worldwide, so yes nationally in the US but also televised in China.

    Yang is also turning into a US story. He was interviewed on ESPN. He was one of the biggest summer league draws in Vegas which just so you know is located in the US.
