    Sounds like he hires people he trusts and lets them do what they do best.

    Finally something good with the team that has been god fucking awful for 4 years.

    Hopefully this changes things because they lost a lot of fans with the bullshit they tried to pass off as an NBA team.

    I was told by ill-informed people that they never talk about the Blazers ever.

    They spent the entire first hour talking about them.

    Not their fault the team has fucking sucked with nothing to talk about. They are smart, dont talk about teams until they prove it. Last 4 years have been really fucking bad.

    Not sure why anyone would prioritize hosting that atrocity of a game, but the given reason it hasn't happened is that Portland lacks the necessary amount of hotel space proximate to the arena

    That is no longer accurate, the given reason now is that they double or tripled the size required for a convention center, and the PCC is like 60-75% too small now.
