Why is the Blazers logo meaningless to non blazer fans but the Canes logo isn’t meaningless to non cane fans, as if the hurricanes logo is a point of conversation for people.

You know what, I’ll save us some time. You’re wrong… The Blazers logo is by far the superior logo, and you’ve got to come up with a better logo than the Canes to even have it up for debate.

If not the pinwheel, what kind of logo do you even have for a Trail Blazer?

A psychotic looking Lewis and Clark?

I know im in the minority of everyone, but im just not the biggest fan of the trailblazers logo at all. Its kinda mid lol. But its subjective, so it doesn't matter.

I hate the Seattle Mariners one so much lol.

But to say the hurricanes logo is anything at all or even better than the trailblazers logo is laughable.

Which team has more name brand recognition?

Hell, if you took that logo and plastered it here a month ago, what % (honestly) of people would know it?

Because if you hear Carolina Hurricanes and see their logo that resembles a hurricane, it makes sense. That’s all I mean. The soccer mom mentality of Blazer fans is amazing

Portland, for sure. Bigger sport, been around almost 30 years longer. Heck, the Whalers probably have more name recognition than the Hurricanes.

As for you second argument (for some reason) I think if you it it here said it was the Hurricanes logo, people would see that. If you put our logo somewhere people would recognize it, but they’d all ask “what does the logo mean?”

I’m not cranky. I said I liked there’s better, and you started attacking my opinion and arguing with me about it. Look in the mirror

    True.

Same could be said of many other NBA teams logos.

I get what you’re saying, but in every other NBA logo there is a hint of whose it is. Even the Wizards logo has the Washington monument on it. As iconic as it is, Portland’s logo has nothing to do with Oregon, Portland or even “Trailblazer”

If I showed you the logo and said it’s Magic, I believe you would say “ok, I get that. It’s lame, but ok”

But if I showed you the pinwheel and said Trailblazers, you’d most likely say”what the fuck?” It’s what, an abstract interpretation of basketball?

Fun fact. According to KOIN, it’s the only logo without a basketball or mascot. Not sure if that’s true, but KOIN wouldn’t lie

Cavs ... Rockets and Spurs don't really have a basketball or a mascot
