Damnit, Brentford might have figured it out. West Ham, on the other hand...

West Ham indeed looking dookie in these first two.

Tottenham beating city 2-0 was a surprise to me.

Hate to say it, but Arsenal is likely to murder Leeds today.

Bundesliga is going to be all Bayern Munich this season. Leverkusen currently losing to Hoffenheim in Eric Ten Haag’s debut with Leverkusen. Tough year to take over, being that Leverkusen were transfer losers this year.

Leeds definitely getting humbled. We're missing Ampadu's spine.

If we're going to get drubbed I at least want Bielsa back...

Can’t really feel bad about it though, almost to be expected. Arsenal gonna make a lot of teams want to go home.

Manchester City could have used De Bruyne today, but Napoli isn’t complaining as they lead Sassuolo 2-0; De Bruyne has one of them.

    I'm pretty sure @barfo isn't allowed within 100 yards of a school.

91 meters if the school is in Canada.

Arsenal so comfortable they're playing 15 year olds against us...

    AC Milan stinks

I don’t even want to dog Pulisic, but that was despicable, demoralizing… They should be ashamed!

Okay, Harry Kane’s first goal was incredible.
He actually showed off in this one

Man the announcers “Nobody does it better than Harry Kane” …

Bay FC, the San Jose women's pro soccer team, played a match in San Francisco before record crowd of 40,000.

Benjamin Sesko is starting up front for United today in this will be one sided cup match. United failing to win either of their first EPL matches, and Sesko hasn’t really had much of a say in that.

This could be a huge opportunity for Sesko to show United that he’s what they need. I think he was great with Leipzig, and I think he can be great for United. You’d think nobody would be talking about what he does in this match, but right now if you know United fans - they will be going crazy for him if he shows off.

United needs something. Even though they can check off a match against a top club, they still have a lot to improve on if they want to return to European league play. I think Amorim should be starting Sesko, and I hope (and back) Sesko to prove why that should be in this match today.

Sammy Sk Football is solid for football commentary. Worth the subscribe if you want to catch some football commentary. YouTube and “live watch along” streaming has become a game breaker in all of sports. At some point hearing some random dude in Atlanta go crazy for the Hawks became more than a suitable replacement for watching a random game.

Don’t sleep on Munich in the Champions league. I put Munich and Real Madrid as favorites.

I was feeling all depressed because Leeds lost to Sheffield Wednesday (not only are they a Championship team, they're possibly the worst one AND they're in financial shambles, AND they were playing basically their U21 side) and then Man U went and cheered me up like this! Sheffield Wednesday are literally 2 whole leagues above Grimsby!

The Powers That Be must be a bit pissed that instead of a second round cup tie of old rivals Man U and Leeds they now have one between Sheffield Wednesday and Grimsby Town. (Sidenote: Grimsby has always been one of my favorite "dour Northern Town" names, right up there with Scunthorpe.)

AND, while Leeds basically dominated possession but just couldn't score (and Wednesday's goal was because of a ludicrous goalkeeper error) Grimsby basically dominated Man U for large stretches and actually put the ball in the net FOUR TIMES before Man U scored!

This Premier League season is nuts. There's the most parity I've ever seen. Brighton, which had been near the bottom, just beat Man City. West Ham, which had been dismal, and literally on the bottom, just went to Forest and won 3-0. I'm sure it'll settle down, but for now, who knows what's up (except that Wolves are shit). Could Pep Guardiola get fired??

It has been an interesting season so far. Leeds getting a point against Newcastle maybe not what you hoped but I bet you’ll take it.

Hoping Villa starts coming to form.

    Ollie Watkins WILL score today!

Gonna be an interesting match between Liverpool and Arsenal starting in the next 10 minutes.

So far Arsenal seem clearly the better side, despite the game being at Anfield. Will this cause Liverpool to pony up the extra money to get Isak?
