The Evergreen School shooting that happened at about the same time seems to have been influenced by 764:

Not saying this is what happened, but my father had a TIA and stroke, and that's exactly what his face looked like. especially when he was tired or taking a nap.

Again, not saying this is what is happening here.

This and this and a thousand more times of this!!! This isn’t post of the year. It is the post of the forum.

It might be, if it wasn't based on misunderstanding the post it was responding to.

Or is that exactly what makes it the post of the forum?

Nah. The misunderstanding is just that. A miss understanding. I care not which post this was responding to, but i fully believe in the foundation of the post as essential to turning things around.

I should clarify, its the last paragraph i am mostly referring to:

“If someone spreads lies - teach people to see through it. If someone manipulates words - put him in place and stand corrected.
If you have a set a values you believe in - teach others about it and offer them to join in shared values.”

The ONLY fix is to engage in open and honest dialogue with those we do not share ideologies with, while exhibiting aggressive restraint and providing respect enough to hear each other out. This goes for everyone on all sides.
The moment we close our ears to those we disagree with, its the beginning of the end…

He's right. How am I supposed to dialogue with a person who said gays should be stoned to death? (I said earlier incorrectly burned at the stake. Not a big difference.)

I engage with people with whom I disagree frequently here. And in real world. As soon as someone says I am not fully human I'm done.

From what reporter who was on the scene said, I faced much tighter security at a small suburban hospital ER on a slow Sunday night than they had at this event.

And people above said that words don’t have consequences? Is that what I read? Spewing hate like this is mind boggling to me. And people are surprised by what happened?

We don't know that's the motive. Could be a conservative upset about Kirks turn on the Epstein files. We just don't know.
