New York drug dealer whose sentence was commuted by Trump (he is rich and white) is facing five years for violating terms of his release after being arrested on a series of charges. Allegedly threatened a nurse and synagogue member, sexually abused family's nanny and evaded bridge tolls.

Republican senator Eric Schmitt of Missouri said quiet part out loud at National Conservatism Conference. Once a fringe gathering, conference now attended by Cabinet members, Congress people and in past years Vance. Conference included workshops on threat of Islam and overturning marriage equality.

Schmitt argued against concept that America is an idea or ideal that anyone can be part of. In speech What is an American he said that America is based not on ideals but on blood and soil. Americans are descendants of white Christian pilgrims who he alleges built this country (not slaves, god forbid, to acknowledge slavery is white guilt). Schmitt, who is of German descent and not one of the pilgrims, said immigrants cannot be truly American. That immigrants dilute and destroy the country.

He decried the "five little words" in Declaration of Independence, all men are created equal. Which Declaration called self evident. He opposed even more the Seneca Falls declaration that all men and women are created equal. Schmitt said clearly all men are not equal. And problems country has derive from misunderstanding that we are equal and anyone can become American.

 

Fox host Brian Kilmeade, enthusiastically joined by panel including Christian influencer, called for execution of mentally ill people who commit crimes or are homeless.

They mistakenly directed the smoke into the building instead of venting to outside air. A litter of kittens is in serious condition.
