Not sure but you likely have access to just how many posts i have deleted of which most i gave a reason?

The devil is in the details. So let’s dissect your question with a few different options.

Have I ever deleted a post of mine? Of course. I have accidentally duplicated a post. I have entered the incorrect quote when responding to someone. I have had image issues where an image wont display and i have deleted those.
I have typed something out in frustration and quickly deleted it, typically within seconds.
Have I ever posted something, received overwhelming backlash and then delete it? I do not believe so.
Anytime ive posted something and people have replied and then later I realized I was in error? No. I do not believe I've ever deleted a post like that. I have had some posts deleted by a mod without my request. I have apologized many times here. I make mistakes, but I try to own my shit. If I delete it, who knows what I am apologizing for?

Now let’s flip the switch here, because without searching, I do believe I have seen some posts of people calling out politicians for deleting tweets. So does that same framing of innocence, because a post was deleted, go across the board?
I do not portray this… better than though, never wrong, always right, but always lashing out, attitude that is soooo abrasive to sooooo many and then claim words hurt. I mean, that’s hypocrisy at its core.

Fallon got Trump elected the first time; he will bend the knee if he hasn’t already.

Todd Blanche talking about using RICO charges against protesters. January 6 insurrectionist Ali Alexander, whose career stalled over revelations of pursuing underage boys, called for arrest and execution of 500,000 leftists.

ABC paid Trump millions to settle frivolous lawsuit so they could get merger approved. The also agreed to end all diversity programs. New chair is son of pro Trump billionaire Larry Ellison.

FCC just told them they would lose broadcast license if they didn't cancel Kimmel.

Remember proposed Tik Tok ban? Instead a deal was made that puts 60% under control of pro Trump billionaires.

I do not have access to a page that shows all your deleted posts no.

I deleted his post because it broke forum rules. He didn't delete it. As far as I saw, he owned it. He apologized.

    We aren't politicians here.

He's angry and passionate much like you. Sometimes people say things they don't mean and they don't want them to stand as it doesn't represent who they are, just a weak moment. We are human after all.

    That's CBS, not ABC.

ABC did settle a BS lawsuit with Trump, but the merger and Ellison is CBS.

That's as tame as what got Matthew Dowd fired.

If you didn't think this was a dictatorship, I don't know how you can't anymore.

And saying these things are ok? That dude is calling for violence. I thought that was hate speech now.

He sucked up to him when he visited his show, and totally took it easy on him after the fact. It's why he went from 1st in the ratings to getting beat by Colbert.

    He's a chump.

Thing is, Colbert and Kimmel will be OK. They will land on a streaming channel somewhere. What about the hundreds of nameless little people fired? The people who lost green cards?

What about the remnants of American democracy?

Free speech should be across the board, period and it is legally defined.
Illegal speech has very narrow parameters. Hate speech is not illegal unless it includes a specific threat to an individual. Not a mass of people.
To say “Kirk should die for his beliefs” is technically legal and protected. To say “I will kill Kirk for his beliefs” is an immediate threat to his life and is not protected under the first amendment. (And i think the FBI is knocking at my door…).
There must be an unbiased and impartial line that all who actually care about all life will unite on. Some don't care. Some will cross the line, but the constitution, as defined by what I researched, is pretty clear on what is and isn't protected.

BUt this is only part of the problem. Many on both sides are misidentifying hate speech as an imminent threat to individuals, when it is not. Is this right? Not for me to say. Maybe the constitution should be ratified? I don't know.

But if the agenda of some people is to turn hate speech into illegal speech, then, once again, the tactics used to push for this change are harmful to the tacticians. Instead of going after the people saying these things, push for politicians who agree and will develop a bill to ratify the constitution. If this is the popular opinion, then thru electing likeminded officials, slowly but surely, change happens.
We’re all on here fighting with each other when ive been trying to say, the fight is out there. The fight is large corporate Conglomerates that rule the financial and political world we currently live in. Its left. Its right. It’s even most independents. As long as a politician takes corporate aid to finance their bid for election, it’s over. This may sound drastic and I fully admit is an off the cuff hip shot at an answer.

Let’s say we use platforms to get the word out that no matter party affiliate you lean towards, you will not vote for any politician who has taken any donations from any corporation. Period.
Let’s say by some miraculous event, most states couldn't get the electorates voted in due to zero votes for either candidate, then I believe they would have to do a new vote?

This would unwind things and leave a huge platform for new political candidates to arise that are not taking donations and this can stay true to their core beliefs.

I mean, let’s be real here. We are all sooo frustrated with our politicians. Anyone without hate is sick of both sides. Whether one is worse or not, is all debatable, but there is no denying sane people on both sides are fed up with the bs. Say this but do that.

Until we drop the aggression towards one another and focus on getting corporations(which includes media influence) out of our politics, nothing will improve.
    Nothing.
Everyone is online fighting the wrong fight, expending so much energy that is only fueling the fire of chaos.
This is doing nothing to drive towards any type of answer or resolution and only further concreting our social demise.
    Hate begats hate. Begats hate.
The endless cycle of us humans seem to cannot live without…
