New York had only upset of first day, winning in OT.

Looks like the Lynx bench was significant in them winning. 59 to 16

Three series now tied. Valkyries/ Lynx in process. After winning Game 1 on the road, New York, with a chance to close out series, was dreadful, got crushed on home court. Las Vegas looked like swep but Seattle came back from 14 down on last second shot, breaking a 17 game Aces win streak.

Crushing end to season for Valkyries. Up 14 after three quarters, but Lynx rallied to win game by one point. Brutal.

Funny. It’s not just me that isn’t paying attention now. I literally have not even seen news on the WBBA to get me to look at what’s happening.

You can watch ESPN. Since Bay Area acquired team, local coverage grew exponentially.

Pretty sure Portland will have more coverage next year also. At least i hope so. Pretty much nothing now.
Only thing going around here is Ducks and Seahawk football. Maybe a few Mariners stories because of the big Dumper.

Every WNBA game will be broadcast. Either on the National level (ESPN/NBATV/ION) or regionally. I know that the details haven’t’ been worked out yet for our FIRE. But the new contract with the league is all games have to be broadcasted like the NBA.

People don’t remember that not all the Blazers games were broadcasted. I think my first year we only did like 75 or maybe 70. Can you imagine today, if you simply couldn’t watch a game. It would be like preseason vibes.

Well I'm old enough to remember the Trumpets that started the broadcast on KPTV in the 70's and early 80's before the whole cable thing really got started. Broadcast over the air. It's pretty cool we are back to that. I don't think every game was televised back in the early years.

I would also add that in the past there were tape delay games, now there all live as well.

It makes me laugh, men who go out of their way to post on WNBA thread that they are not interested in WNBA. Most people just ignore a thread on a topic that doesn't interest them. Like they have to scream from the rooftops how manly they are because they aren't interested in women's basketball.

Fever devastated by injuries, and not just Caitlin Clark. With series tied, deciding game in Atlanta close throughout. Indiana tied late but Atlanta took five point lead with 2 1/2 minutes left. Then Indiana went on 6-0 run, taking 1 point lead with 7.4 left. Atlanta had trouble inbounding, called time, tried again. Indiana read it perfectly, stole the inbound pass, dodged for a few seconds and was fouled with 1.2 left. Missed first free throw. Made second. Up two. Portland fans know what can happen in 1.2 seconds but Atlanta couldn't get a good shot. Improbable upset by Indiana.

Wild finish in Vegas. Aces beat Seattle by one point. Think free throws don't matter?

Might as well find a link and post it. We won’t get coverage of it here locally.
