agreed. Rasheed was a good player; 4 all-star games. But he never made an all-NBA team or an all-Defense team.

* his career rebound rate was 12.1%. ( Avdija 13.1%; Josh Hart 12.7%; Aminu 13.6%; Aldridge 13.8%)

* his career assist rate was 9.6% (Batum 16.3%; Josh Hart 14.2%; Evan Turner 19.8%; Nurkic 15.7%)

* his career TS% was .536 (league average .576; Josh Hart .578; Batum .566; Larry Nance Jr .596)

so, to review "Rasheed would be a Top-5 player" but Josh Hart is a much better shooter, a better rebounder, and a better passer. OK

 

I don't know how you solve this problem but I think so many different players having their own podcasts is a marketing issue for the league. I don't want players' first amendment rights stifled but I just see them monetizing their voices during their playing careers as being problematic.

It behooves them, if they're monetizing their voices, to show themselves as more controversial than they actually are. The game could become more about doing shit that will get you clicks than it is about winning or playing at a high level.

 

I just find it boring.
