Whoever said the Salt and Pepper squid at Thien Hong at 6749 NE Sandy Blvd is good is a truth teller.

There is no better Calamari anywhere. It has msg (make sh!t good) so pair it with some snowpea tips.

Pro tip: ask for a side of white vinegar and dip the calamari.

    They perfected Calamari.

The rest of the menu is just like any other chinese resto but their salt n pepper squid is the GOAT.

    Warning: It's addicting

I sound like a marketer but no, I don't want people missing out, just sharing good finds.

I can eat Panda Chow Mien and Teriyaki Chicken pretty much every game. I'm good with that.

Isn't that Vietnamese food? Rather than Chinese?

But don't call it calamari! It's a disservice to their squid. Every place place has calamari, this is something on a whole other level and I just call it pepper salted squid. It is squid! Not generic calamari served at any place.

They offer both, mostly all of their dishes are Chinese style dishes. They do have some things that have a Vietnamese style to them.

We all live in basements and are on a fixed mother-discretion allowance.

I've never had the panda at Panda Express, is it bbq'd or breaded like the orange chicken?

I was thinking of trying to treat some of my forum pals, depending on the number.

It's deep-fried in coconut and rice batter and served over fresh bamboo leaves.

I think that one flew past ya! :)

I heard panda is no longer and has been substituted for some down under Koala.

Calamari is italian but Chinese restaurants serve them, even sports bars serve calamari. Thien Hong is a mid chinese resto that happens to have the best Calamari

It is not rubbery there. That's the whole point. And don't call it calamari. Yes, take her there and try some yourself. I think you will love it.

Haha, it did not fly past me. I was working/going with it. The absurd concept of eating endangered Pandas. That's why I said bamboo leaves, as they are the primary food of a Panda, yes? Did it fly past YOU?

This is old news. But you gotta wonder if there’s a Yang tie in.
