Yeah I'd be fine getting rid of the Beavs Ducks game. We have plenty of local west coast games - we're not the team that needs it.

If the Ducks want to do a game that is split 50/50 in location, splits all money and other benefits with the two teams 50/50, yes better aligns with the history of the Civil War then fine - I'd be happy to consider it. But no I don't want the Beavs to give a bunch of concessions so the Ducks get a better cut than the Beavs with a deal. Nor do I want to consider playing more often in Eugene than Corvallis. Let the Ducks go get those concessions for playing PSU or Montana or whoever else they want.

I disagree. You shake things up as soon as possible but you are most likely correct. They will finish the season and give him a chance to try to turn it around.

So far, my prediction has been perfect. Can't wait for the Beavers to win the next four games.

So if they win those games do they still fire the coach? What if they split the WSU games or even sweep em?

Obviously, if the Beavers make it to a bowl game, they keep their coach.

I'd say if they go 5-7 they keep him.

4-8 or worse, you have to make a change.

will be a significant upset if the Beavs beat Houston. They are 3-0 and will have had 2 weeks to prepare. They also have the momentum of being in a P4 conference

App State? Beavers probably win but it is a road game. Wake Forest is not a good team and that game is in Corvallis

from what I saw yesterday, I'd predict 4-8

You lost me when the word, “Beavers and Bowl Game” appeared in the same sentence.

Still don't think they beat Houston, App State is going to be a tougher game than most Beaver fans probably think (just look at WSU/NoTex for the beat down we took in a game most on paper would think we would have rolled), Wake and Layfayette should be wins, Sam Houston is really bad, Tulsa I think is a toss up as they just had a nice win over OkSt but seems like everyone is beating the Cowboys these days. Finally the two with the Cougs I think are a toss up, our offense is pretty solid but defense is horrible. Giving up 59 in back to back weeks with 16 straight drives from the opponent of giving up some sort of points. I still think we find a way to split those OSU games and both Beavs and Cougs end up 4-8 or 5-7.

traveling to Pullman and playing a game there at the end of November might not be very pleasant

Can be ... or it can be very wet and cold! My junior year we played USC on Dad's Weekend (early November) and it was rain and sleet all the way up until game time, then the wind picked up and the temp dropped to below freezing. It's easily one of the coldest experiences of my life. We thought we might have a chance against those SoCal boys until our coach went onside kick to open the game, it went out of bounds, they marched right down the field and scored and that was pretty much the game. Granted that was 2004 and one of the best college football teams I've ever seen as they rolled to a 13-0 record and national title.

Proudly a Coug that went to college and graduated with some great education and memories! Will never be ashamed of where I'm from! You keep putting on those puke and piss colors you bought at Walmart! Honestly, root for whoever you want, but I won't let someone talk shit about my school if they never stepped foot on the campus of the school they cheer for, never paid a dime in tuition, never sat in the student section and yelled until they their voice was gone. Sorry if that came off harsh but dealt with WAY too many idiot puppies this week and ucks over my life that love to talk shit but couldn't even dream of ever actually going to the school.

There is nothing wrong with trying Portland Mt Hood Community College for a semester before deciding to mow lawns.

We each walk our own path...
