Good job, Nate. I am not sure what the solution is. I guess the issue only affects a few playoff teams per year, so they will probably stick with it. And I am happy with getting rid of the Spring Portal. I know Dan wants the season to end around Jan 1st, but I can't see them starting the season any earlier. However, I guess eliminating a non-conference game and getting rid of the bye week could make it work.
Not necessarily just playoff teams. Guys are going to have to hopefully give an indication on whether they plan to go pro or they're going to hang their teams out to dry. I'm not even sure if Novosad is the guy for Oregon if Dante leaves, but if they aren't sure if Dante is staying they won't be able to go to the portal to replace him if he decides to leave in the Spring. I don't think Luke Moga is ready to start. Someone did bring up that grad transfers aren't held to this short window though, so that could open up some possibilities.
It will be interesting to see out Akili Jr progresses. He certainly has the size and has a rocket for an arm. But as we know, there is a lot more to it than that.
Yeah, he has to be better than the walk-on who has gotten snaps. The only thing I can think of is they want to re-shirt him, and if both Moore and Novostad get hurt after week 8, then he can step in and not waste his redshirt. I realize that is a stretch, but it's the only thing I can think of unless he just doesn't know the playbook at all.
He knows what he's talking about and as opposed to most media types doesn't engage in much hyperbole or speculative nonsense. Heres a link to him appearing on the latest QB 11 Show podcast to break down the upcoming matchup. Great stuff! https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/sep-23-2025-penn-state-preview/id1626804853?i=1000728143872 STOMP
why is that? Other then the obvious physical tools, I barely even have an opinion on him let alone a strong one STOMP
For you to say that about a 4* true freshman this early in his career, you must have some inside information. Do you?
I think since he committed so early, partly because of his Dad, he will be patient. All the reports I have read say he loves being at Oregon. But I don't think that is what Tince was implying. But I will let him speak for himself.

Problem with changing the TP window is if u make it later then your transfers likely miss spring ball
