Is Dr. Oz saying I can kick RFK Jr. in the ass? Because, if so, sign me up for my turn.

    FYI
Surprised at the bad reaction I had this time around, as never had before. Hellacious headache, chills and tightening of the chest, all night. Better now...

My wife and I got our Covid and flu vaccines yesterday. We both got the Moderna Covid booster. I had basically no reactions at all, just a mild soreness in my shoulders. My wife got pretty sore shoulders and maybe a mild fever last night, but is fine now.

Hopefully, none of you took Tylenol.

You might start claiming to be a dog on the internets.

    I take Tylenol.

I do not claim to be a dog.

No self respecting cat would ever say such a thing.

I was on a meeting the other day and someone mentioned that they heard 1 in 39 people in Oregon had Covid in September. No idea about the veracity of that claim, but thought it was interesting.

Just saw my doctor for a checkup today. Gave me my annual flu shot. They said they couldn’t give me a COVID shot anymore. They would prescribe me to get one done somewhere else. WTF is that? Wasn’t going to get one anyway, but WTF.

Airplane is is the cleanest most filtered air there is. Or do you mean just the travel in general?

Just travel in general and as a retired million mile flier that plane air isn't sterile by any means and the hacking women next you? Take one for the team and get a covid shot when you can.

From someone who knows a little something about air concerns.

"I work in operating theatres. Some of our rooms are 4 metres high, 8 metres wide and long. 256 square metres of air. And our HAVC fans work so hard that most of the air is swapped every 2 minutes, and, every single molecule of air is exchanged every 6 minutes.

We still wear masks, we still stay away from the surgical field, and if we have an infectious patient, everyone in the room will wear a full gown and mask, not just the doctors and nurses scrubbed in.

Exchange systems mitigate risk, by reducing “dwell time” of droplet and airborne disease. But they can’t stop immediate proximity transmission. They’re not wind-tunnel-air-speeds blowing everything away immediately."
