I have literally no reason to want anybody but the Mariners to win it. And after reading a YouTube comment today about somebody’s 80’s year old mother which doctors haven’t given more than a year to live, and how seeing the Mariners in the playoffs is bringing her joy - I can’t help but hope for the Mariners to win the World Series. Shout out to all of you which have been following the team and supporting them for so long. I hope they win it for all of you. I long to see the day my team wins it all. We should crack some bottles of cheap champagne if (that) ever happens. If I’ve got my facts right, this is going to be a tough series - and the Blue Jays are looking fully in form.
Yeah, even as a mariners fan, especially going 15 last night... I dont expect to win game 1 or the series. I just want it to go 6 games. Make it respectable, but Torontos offense is legit. I know our pitching can be elite, and our bats can wake up... but I give us about a 30% chance of winning the series. That being said, fuck what I have to say, go mariners!!

If it wasnt definitive, it is the first inning, you lose em for the rest of the game if its wrong... 1st inning of the 1st of a possible 7 games... good decision to not do it if its not definitive.
Momentum is everything though. First run puts the pressure on them AND you erase the out which would extend the inning. Agree to disagree but you didn't see it. I bet you'd challenge it too.
Im basing it off "hard to say", it needs to be definitive. I didnt see it, correct, which is why im being abstract about it. It has to be definitive to use it in the first inning, thats just the rule of law for that no matter what.
Rule of law? Must have missed that in the Constitution lol managers get two challenges in the playoffs. The team that scores first has a large statistical advantage to win the game. Based on the only angles we saw, I would have tapped the top of my head.
They get two challenges but they lose the 2nd one if the 1st one is unsuccessful. To be fair. I trust their judgements better than you or I.
