Pirates, Ninjas, Vikings (Was Big Time Centers Rookie #'s)

Re: Big Time Centers Rookie #'s Robinson was muscular, but he never had the girth that Oden will have as Oden is just naturally a bigger man. I've just never been a big fan of that comparison. Also, I'm not a fan of Ewing's so I automatically discount him. I look at the offensive...

Pirates, Ninjas, Vikings (Was Big Time Centers Rookie #'s)

Re: Big Time Centers Rookie #'s I believe I said this elsewhere in this thread, but I'm more interested in why people are selecting certain players for their bar vs how comparable they are to Oden as I find Oden to be extremely unique.

Re: Big Time Centers Rookie #'s But it was only "some" other great big men. It only showed one player that averaged less than 20 PPG as a rookie. I find that to be a poor bar to measure Oden against.

Sacramento Kings vs. Golden State Warriors

No, that is not what I said. I said Twin took him out of his game

Sacramento Kings vs. Golden State Warriors

Nope, I'm using it as an example. Just as it is easy to provide examples of JR Smith demonstrating a low BBall IQ. I already explained this. I didn't say that I think Bosh is mentally weak because of it. I said Bosh is mentally weak and here is an example of him demonstrating it...

Sacramento Kings vs. Golden State Warriors

Again, I'm not basing anything off of one playoff series. I am saying when the going gets tough, Bosh is more likely to make a mistake than make the correct decision. To your comment about clutch stats: Bosh's clutch stats at 82games have a negative +/- and he performs worse in super clutch...

And which post was that in response to?

Sacramento Kings vs. Golden State Warriors

Calling Twin a good defender opens the thread up to a tangent that I didn't want to discuss (is he or is he not a good defender). That said, playing good defense doesn't always take a player out of his game. However, when a player faces good defense and then makes unforced errors and does...

Did I reply to the post where he asked how?

Sacramento Kings vs. Golden State Warriors

No, I know that there are people on this site and that participated in the drafts that don't believe he is/was a good defender.

Sacramento Kings vs. Golden State Warriors

You can stop putting words into my mouth now. I didn't say I was going to attempt to prove he is mentally weak. In 2004, would you have asked why is Marbury mentally weak or in 2003 about TMac? What in the fuck does his prime have to do with anything? He isn't in it now and he won't be...

Pirates, Ninjas, Vikings (Was Big Time Centers Rookie #'s)

Re: Big Time Centers Rookie #'s My belief is that part of what you saw of him in college was an effort to avoid foul trouble. He also was able to score that way because a lot of the players he was going against weren't able to challenge his shot.
