What a dick. Closing the account is one thing but there's no need to be an ass to the tellers working at the bank who had to scramble to get, what, 9500 20s. They had nothing to do with his loan and it sounds like he didn't even provide what was asked of him. The bank shouldn't have given him the duffel bag, make him make sever trips out to the car with armfuls of cash.
love it!!! in a previous life (as an university student) i use do customer service for one of the big 5 banks in canada and the biggest grievance voiced by customers is that the bank never believed in them. i had clients who used to call me to make their final payment on their credit card bill and then tell me they were going to close out their account with my bank because the bank rejected their mortgage application and they decided to consolidate their business with a competitor who believed in them.
