Australia were also a bit iffy defensively, and I reckon we would have conceded against a better team. It was good to get out on the park, and give the lads a run, but we'll need to lift our game considerably if we want to lift the Asian Cup.

Australia dominated most of the game, but Japan had more quality chances. Australia fell in love with the long ball in the second half, and extra time.
