Wow, Timbers once again stuttered 1-1 Draw against Carolina.
    Where is their offense?
Or has the defense also fluttered?

In the shitcan obviously. At this rate I will be surprised if they make the playoffs and be ousted in the first round.

Wahoo. Their funk continues. With a record of 3-4-4 (13 points, 5th place in USL) they are really shinning themselves! That was shitty 1-0 loss to Miami FC Blues that gave that team a 2-2-7 (13 points) record. How sad is that?

It happens. Seattle finished I believe 4th or 5th in the USL before their jump to MLS.

yeah against a level 4 tier soccer team. Timbers are level 2. Is that something to brag about?

I worked the timbers game against the star. So many blown chances to score and they still ended up losing 1-0. They need to work on a triangular offense or something.

I think the coaches need to do more subbing or something else. Team is sputtering on offense and its looking bad to watch.

Timbers now fall to 3-5-4 (13 pts) with key losses to NSC Minnesota Stars (4th place in USL), and Miami Blues(3rd place in NASL). And two ties against Carolina (4th place in NASL) and Austin (1st place in USL). Portland now has given up 3 goals and only has scored 1 in the month of June. This sounds like May all over again.

Is it too late to demote the starters and let the other midfielders and forwards play? The timbers need a confidence builder and win a conference game on the road in the next week or so.

I hope this team isn't sucking towards the end of the season, when they just pulled off a good win on the road. Portland Timbers (7-5-5) picked up 3 points (26pts), defeating the Vancouver Whitecaps (7-3-8)(29pts) 2-1 in their stadium.
