to be fair, they're beating a team that lost to Sac State and lost to Fresno State by 55. :dunno:

ASU at their place will be a tough game. A good test and learning experience for Mariota as well. But I think we prevail by 2 scores.

ASU has been one of our toughest opponents over the years.

I still remember that game where Joey Harrington brought us back from the brink of death in their house. Twice I think.

They have a lot of speed. It should make for an interesting Thursday night game.

They are a very good team, and they will put pressure on Mariota! This is a game we better be focused and ready to deal them out early because 4th quarter big plays may feed them the most!

Ducks win by 10 or under in a close game!

I'm just glad Vontaze Burfict is gone. Dirty piece of shit.

Maybe so, but he was good for a few 15-yard personal fouls calls per game.

That's how people get hurt, my friend.

Turns out this game was not much of a test and ASU did not look that good. I do wonder and think that losing Sutton and the other top defensive player early in the game was a huge factor in us rushing for so much.

Computers don't like Oregon, but ESPN does. They seem to squeak every other team they play into the top 25, just before airtime on the network.

"Yeah, we've already beaten three top 25 teams this season! #22 Arizona, #23 Washington, and #24 Arizona State!"

All I'm saying is that there's a reason for the computer polls, and it's to weed wins over a "ranked opponent" like Arizona (3-3).

The one thing the computers wont factor either is that our second string has been playing many second halfs in our wins. Had we kept our starters in last night 70+ plus was a reality!!!

Oh, I didn't realize that ESPN controlled the polls. Damn media giants always trying to favor the big schools like Oregon!
