DaMarcus Beasley is on his quest to remember how to play soccer again and could be bringing that search to Hannover. According to Bild (found via Ives), Hannover was in talks with Beasley earlier in the summer, but have now resumed the talks with an ACL injury to first choice winger Carlitos. Beasley would join Steve Cherundolo as Americans in Hannover. Cherundolo is the club's longest serving player and is serving as captain.
Apparently Drew Carey has a part ownership in Hannover as well as Seattle Sounders. And the signing is official.
