The Internet! It's a glorious thing. It's possibilites are endless. One of the best features of the internet are the online messageboards. An online messageboard is a forum where random people from all over the world can anonimously conversate in a free-speaking manner. The beauty of the online messageboard is people can feel free to vent and expose their true feelings in an open environment. Humor in said environment is meant to be open, fruitful, and with little to no boundaries. There is no political-correctness in an open forum. Here we will take a look at Dick and Jane, along with Dick's friend Steve, and some emo kid named Ethan who have learned a lesson about online forums:Jane: I'm making this post to complain about Dick. He is a real ***hole and I'm tired of his insensitive posts.Dick: Jane, I'm sorry, but my Grandpa died tonight and I really don't feel up to discussing this right now.Steve: Jane, you are an insensitive whore. Dick is mourning the death of his grandfather right now and you just make this thread to rant about him being an ***hole!?Jane: I... I'm sorry... I didn't know any better. If I knew Dick's Grandpa died I wouldn't have made the thread.Dick: You better be sorry, I'm mourning right now and you just made it so much harder!5 minutes pass...Steve: Haha you dumbass, we were just joking!*Pointing and laughing*Jane: You assholes, I'm never coming to this messageboard again!Ethan (where the hell did Ethan come from): You guys are scum and this messageboard is the devil because of you. This severe prank you have pulled has emotionally scared me and I will never post at this website again!-----------------The conclusion of the exchange is Dick and Steve were just having fun with Jane. They were here to have fun regardless of what Jane thought. At the end, Jane shouldn't of been an emo whore and threatened to leave the website. The actuality is Dick and Steve probably like Jane and were just messing with her. Ethan on the other hand... No one is really quite sure why he took so much offense to an internet joke. Ethan has no sense of humor, but nobody really cares because Ethan will probably slit his wrists in a few days anyways... in a circle of black candles...-----------------In the situation above, we can see that some people obviously take their internet discussion sessions far too seriously. Dick and Steve were having fun no matter how you twist it. Dick and Steve aren't even assholes. People who have fun with eccentric behaviors on internet messageboards aren't assholes, wrong, or even Democrats. They're just normal people.Volume 2 to follow some day...
