I don't really think Haim is that good tbh. He aint the quickest and he's quite clumsy. But that can only be good for the other teams.
He's signed for us now, he completed his medical and has signed a 4 Year deal. also he wont start infront of CARVALHO (someone need to learn to spell) but might if carvalho is injured.
So I guess Newcastle didn't bag him... Oh well. Not that I'm bitter, but I really didn't see Allardyce's point in getting him...

We got shat on and it in some ways could be blamed for our title loss. The signing will prevent this happening so I would not say it's a poor signing.
If chelsea recall alex then i dont know why they signed him. Unless Carlvalho is gonna be sold i dont know where Ben Haim is gonna play
Ban Haim is a good player but IMO he's wasting his time going to Chelsea when he could have gone somewhere else and been a more important part of the team. And Rodney, it's not if Chelsea recall Alex, it's whether or not they can get the work permit for him.
I cant see him playing week in week out, he should of gone to newcastle, now he has to hope JT or Carvalho gets injured, that wont happen now that they have back-up.
He will do for the bench but wont get that many games. Unless Terry goes out or Carvalho and break a leg.
