I have been debating as to spurs striking options and the best way to utilise the forwards. My thinking is partnering Berbatov with Defoe and Keane with Mido (or vice versa) keeping the big small thing going could create some rivalry without selfish striking. The reason i say this is that ive noticed some selfish play (not passing to superior positioned forwards) infront of goal and some unwarranted complaints about not recieving balls when in shooting positions(Keane). I think having partners will mean that the strikers work better together and learn each others particular games/read/trust each other much more. Obviously they will still be able to swap but this familiarity could provide big returns. I am just sick of players seemingly playing for their own glory and not that of the team. Any comments/suggestions?
I'm not much of a Spuds follower but Defoe's turn and fleet of foot on Sunday was absolutely amazing. Berbatov seems to be coming to life now so he's got to be there. I'd say Defoe and Berbatov going by Sunday but I'm not sure of their overall play.
