If those predictions come true, the Rose Bowl and Fiesta Bowl look pretty good. I also think Alabama vs Michigan State looks pretty good as well.

So much great football! A fair amount of people saying the Pac is weak this year, but I think Oregon, Stanford, Arizona will represent well.

I doubt Cal can do anything but be true to themselves, losers and fakers...

Down year for the Orange Bowl. V.Tech vs. UConn.

Stanford is a damn good team. It sucks because they won't have Luck next year, so I imagine there will be some dropoff, but I think they'll have a great showing in whatever bowl they play in.

Stanford should get to play in the Rose Bowl.

    I agree.

Hey, if Auburn loses to South Carolina next Saturday, what about a Ducks vs Cardinal rematch in the National Championship game? :)

That would be hilarious. I just don't want to play TCU. I want Auburn. I want to see how good we really are. If we can stomp on Auburn, I think it will really legitimize our program around the country.

Me too. We all know the SEC is good, but I get tired of hearing how much better they are.

Wisconsin and Stanford would be a great Rose Bowl matchup. Wisky scares me-- power ball.

    No.

    We already beat them.

I like the idea of playing either a one loss Auburn or Wisconsin. After us, they seem like the top 2 teams.

I just really want to prove that Auburn isn't THAT good. They play a spread, not too unlike our own, but more predicated on Newton being able to run. Alabama was crushing them by stopping Newton's running, which forced them to beat them through the air. Unfortunately Newton made some good passes and they crawled out of that hole. If we were also to stop the run, it would be up to Harris and Boyett to really bring it. Harris vs Jones would be an insane matchup.

I want Auburn. I hope they don't get beat in the SEC title game.

If they lose, I hope Wisconsin leap frogs TCU. TCU is a good team but they haven't been tested all year. It would be best for us to play Wisconsin, then have TCU lose in the Rose Bowl. Then the Ducks would be the only undefeated team and there would be no debate.

It is impossible for Stanford to play in the Rose Bowl this year

The more debate, the quicker we will get a playoff

True, but I love re-matches. They can get ugly....in a good way. ;)

Nah, if the Ducks don't end up playing Auburn, I, too, like the thought of playing Wisconsin, while TCU is relegated to the Rose Bowl.

Stanford won't be in the Rose Bowl, but since they're ranked #4 in the BCS and their regular season is finished, and the next four teams after them are finished as well, they're pretty much guaranteed to stay at #4 and get an automatic bid in a BCS bowl.

I think they have to beat Cal, and really crush them in the process. Cal is so bad it might be a case of them being a negative win

They played them last week. Why they don't play them next week like all the other rivalries, I don't know, because both Stanford and Cal's regular seasons are over already. It doesn't seem like there was a good reason for them to play it early.
