"[Florida] sent forwards Nathan Horton and Gregory Campbell to the Boston Bruins for defenceman Dennis Wideman, the 15th overall pick in this year's NHL Entry Draft and a third round pick in 2011."

As a Bruins fan, I love the trade. We really don't have many goal scorers on the team, and finally we bring one in with Horton who averages 25+ a season. Hopefully, when paired with Savard (if he doesn't get traded) or Krejci he will be able to put up 30 or more. The pick is definitely expendable considering we have the #2 and are getting Seguin or (hopefully Hall). Yeah, I was a little surprised at first because Horton is listed as a Center, but he played RW pretty much all of his career I believe.

We also pickup Campbell who is an upgrade over Paille. Sure we lose a puck moving defenseman in Wideman, but he makes a lot of mistakes and was hated by many Boston fans as the season progressed because of this. He definitely needed out for psychological reasons lol.

Now we have a top 6 of:
    Lucic-Savard-Horton
    Sturm-Krejci-Seguin?

And still have a respectable d-core, even though I'm sure PC will grab someone in another trade or in Free Agency.
    Chara-Hunwick
    Seidenberg-Boychuk
    Ference-Stuart

I also heard Bobby Ryan is available from Anaheim? If this is the case... if Boston can someone snag him, I will piss myself.

All I had to read is that last setence. Lol. Bobby Ryan will be huge this offseason. I wounder where he will go, or if he will stay. I'd like to see him not go to any of the B'Hawks rivals... Just saying.

Is he definitely on the block? I forget where I read this, but it wasn't from any reliable source, perhaps another forum.
