http://sports.espn.go.com/mlb/news/story?id=2691994DAM IT JIM!! Suppan would have been the better option. He is Fat Glendon 2.0 He was left off the Cardinals playoff roster. Is it any wonder they let him go?? I think not. Just when you think he's turned the corner, he's at it again, relying on sub-standard crap to fill holes.Marquis sucks.

Every team needs someone in the 5th starter position that just gets the game to the Bullpen with under 4 runs or less on the Scorboard.

Allowing 4 runs in 6 innings is [IMG] a 6.00 ERA.

Would you want this guy on the Yankees since every team needs one of those. :whistling:

It might not be optimal, but it works.

For 7 million though? That's insane. That's disgusting.

Don't know if it's true, but it's an interesting thought.

This is not market correction. This is a spiral that is only now becoming out of control. Lets look at Aramis Ramirez and Adrain Beltre. Ramirez gets 4/40, w/ an opt-out after 2 years. Beltre has 5/65 (gets his b4 aramis BTW). This is after 2004 BTW. Ramirez has had overall a better career than Beltre. Beltre continues to suck, while Ramirez continues giving you 30/100. Ramirez opts out. His camp says Beltre has 5/65, I should be getting 5/75. And guess what. He gets 5/75. All of this b/c of a contract Beltre should never have gotten
