He has good size and is a terrific athlete. He throws very well on the run and has amazing accuracy. His arm strength is questionable and he has a fairly long throwing motion.
I have seen this kid throw in person and their is no doubt in my mind he is THE top QB hands down in NC. Arm strength a question? I saw him play Crest and sling one 60 yards on the run for 6 without any stress in his motion. He performed very well at the US Army All-American Combine where he was ranked 12th in the nation of Pro-Style QBs by a USA Today writer. I spoke with him and his coach before and Duke's new staff is offering him, most likely at Junior Day, and Clemson, UNC, State, Maryland, ECU, and Notre Dame are all after him as well. At the Shrine Bowl Combine everyone will see what this kid's hype is all about.
And yes, in his sophomore highlight film he DID have an elongated release, but it is much quicker now. Keep this kids name in the back of your mind

Granted, those are sophomore highlights and they're hardly accurate now, but they're all I've seen. Also, it was stated at the combine that he didn't get a lot of air underneath this throws, which could just be a mechanics thing that can be fixed. When his junior highlights are released, I'll definitely take a look at them as he looks like a great prospect. His throws on the run looked tremendous. Welcome to the site, by the way. Hope you stick around.
Yes yes his sophomore year they had absolutely NO receivers, and at most an average tight end. The simply had no deep game. He threw 11 balls at the Combine all day haha he said it wasn't good in that aspect but after seeing his Junior highlight film you will see how he has developed with mere possession receivers around him. Oh I will definately be around this site man! Just got with it today!
