First place is back within reach thanks to Chelsea's loss this past weekend. Manchester will be visiting Wolverhampton on Saturday while we host Burnley. Chelsea is not in EPL action this week. Alex Song will serve the first of a two-game suspension (due to accumulated yellow cards) v Burnley. He will also be out for the Hull City visit next week. Expect Denilson to fill in. Injury news on Gallas, Diaby, and Arshavin has not been updated. Considering the strength of competition it is likely they will continue to rest.
Typical Arsenal performance... needed to make a statement but just went about business and came away with a somewhat unconvincing win. Atrocious game for Bendtner but Walcott was great. Hopefully Fabregas was pulled for the sake of rest.
+1 Nasri also had a great game, especially after Cesc went off. He looks better playing centrally, rather than out wide. Looked like he reinjured himself to me. It wasn't funny. You wouldn't be laughing if we had have lost, or drawn. It wouldn't bother me so much if he wasn't such a FIGJAM.
I think keeping possession-wise, he's the best player in the team. Nobody can take the ball off of him and if they do, it will be a corner or foul. No, it wasn't a tear. His hamstring "felt tight" so he is basically being rested, he isn't on the table. Okay, we did win, so it is funny.
