There is a big difference between the 2.
Re: Freakin' sucks!! The same thing has happened to me. The first two times I opened up the PS2 and cleaned out all the dust. Then I lowered the cd holding platform and it worked like a charm. A month later my madden messed up again. Just take some paper towels and windex. Spray it on there and wipe it off by rubbing it a little bit. Let it dry cleanly. If that doesnt work just buy a new one.

For some reason anytime you add alot of FAs etc.. the franchise doesn't work. If you wanna add FAs make sure you dont update everything detail by detail or else your franchise won't work.
