My man Lewis Clinch is going to Georgia Tech.watch out for g tech this year, we got some good young players. BUT!you can only pick one! sry accidently posted it in the high school bball forum
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting playmaker14:</div><div class="quote_post">watch out or some dude named Greg Oden, ok. He's a pretty good player.</div> Oden is actually still in high school, so we'll put him on this list next year A couple of guys I would look out for are Mario Chalmers, who will be Kansas's new PG, Josh McRoberts, a big man who's going to Duke, and Courtney Fells, an athletic 6'6" wing who is going to play for NC State. He'll have a chance to score a lot with the departure of Julius Hodge; the Pack will be looking for him to make an immediate impact. Also, wherever Brandon Rush ends up, I'm sure he'll have a major impact.
O yea Mario Chalmers, i love the way he plays. He is my favorite high school player other than lewis clinch
Carl Patterson. I think he's going to RHode Island. He's the next Nate Robinson. Wait i think it was fresno state.
There aren't a lot of big name freshman coming in because of the NBA draft we lost Gerald Green, Andrew Bynum, Martell Webster, Monta Ellis, Andray Blatche, Louis Williams, and Amir Johnson plus I am probably forgetting one or two guys. I am going to throw two names out there for freshman to look out for and they are Julian Wright and Tyler Hansbrough. They are both coming into big name colleges (UNC & Kansas) and they are both most likely to start on their teams and make an impact right away. Hansbrough will be the go to option in the post for the Tarheels this season which means he gets his shot to win Freshman of the Year. Wright has good size for a small forward at this level at 6'8" and coming out he also reminds me a lot of Scottie Pippen/Andre Iguodala, being an athletic player that can do a little of everything. In fact he played on the same AAU team as Iguodala, Wright is going to be a special player.

Kansas has a lot of scoring slack to pick up, and a kid like Wright is a good fit to fill in the blanks. As much as I don't trust froshies to take teams to the promised land, Chalmers and Wright are going to do some big things for KU right away. I wouldn't be surprised to see Chalmers average something like: 13 ppg, 5 apg, 4 rpg, 1-2 spg, and Wright in the neighborhood of 16 ppg, 6 rpg, 2-3 apg. Chalmers has improved his jumper, too, and might become a dangerous 3 pt shooter, something that used to be a knock on him.
Can't forget about Joe Krabbhoft. He hurt his foot, but he'll be healthy for the start of the season. He's a athletic guy who can play all over the court and can do a lot of things well. Wisconsin needs some scoring help to keep pressure off of Alando and Kam, so Krab will prolly be looked on to score right away. Also, Greg Paulus is gonna be a really good point for Duke right away.
Josh McRoberts from Duke is the kid most scouts will be watching closely. He's a 6'10 PF that is known for being an excellent rebounder and can face up and be explosive over anyone. He is the #1 PF according to scout.com and is probably the best freshman out of everyone from this year's class. I'd keep an eye on Brandon Rush as well, even though we don't know where he'll be playing yet.
My pick is the most underrated incoming freshman in America, Jamont Gordon (I bet a lot of you are having to Google his name right now, which is sad). I'm sure that Tyler Hansbrough, Julian Wright, and Richard Hendrix will probably all put up better stats, but I wanted to go with a player that not many of you guys know about. As far as incoming freshmen go, I'd consider Gordon top ten, hands down. He's undersized as a 6-4 wing, but that's nothing major on the college level. He doesn't have a great jumper, but he's an athletic freak, and he should be the main focus on the depleted Mississippi State roster next season. Remember that name... Jamont Gordon.
I agree with you voodoochild even though i didnt say him, i think Jamont gordon is gonna be an impact player at mississippi state,i think thats where he'll be.After all he did play at oak hill.
