I can do a shoutbox, but I've been told that it would be used to spam users and other bad things

True but on Dyc there were commands to erase all or just certain messages. Also would be good for general Banter and if you had one in each section I'm Sure mods would overlook them. For example me and Headcase could keep an Eye on the Soccer SB while other mods overlook their sections, I maybe getting to big for my boots but maybe you could give rewards for the best maintained Shoutbox. Just an Idea i'm throwing into the pipeline for you guys.
I have to commend GArenas for his Guess the Wizard game.
http://sportstwo.com/Thread/View/NBA/WASHI...N/798984?page=1
A very clever game.
I think this would be a great game to have across the entire site, as a program.
Basically you'd have your database of pictures. The entire site sees the same picture. Once someone gets it, there is a new picture, the person who got it is awarded a point.
You would input your answer through a text box (since multiple choice would make it likely that someone got it easily). Set a parameter that you get one guess every 3, 6 hours (whatever we can come to an agreement on).
I think it'd be a great site wide game in that format. Have athletes from NBA, MLB, NFL, etc.
After 24 hours without a correct guess, just have the answer revealed, and score a point for Sports Two (the website). So not only would we be in competition with each other, but also the website itself if we all get stumped.

I primarily use the front page to see which threads have been updated, but because of the time difference, when I go on the board the front page is filled up with soccer threads (not a subject I have any opinion on). Currently, clicking on the sport icon will show the updated threads in that genre, but maybe we could make them check boxes. This or another on/off system would allow me to see updated threads in NBA and Football, or s2, football, and golf. Know what I'm sayin?
I know what you're saying, and its definitely part of the customization plans that we have. Eventually you'll be able to determine which sports/leagues/teams appear on your own custom home page.

I noticed the NFL logo is the old one. They have a new on this year.

Old one ----------------------- New one

Yeh i was thinking about that as well. Also what about an other soirts forum instead of putting it into the General Discussion
err yeh i knew that.

Just keeping you on your toes is all.
*doesn't feel stupid lol*

What about a Scottish league genral disscusion in football the SPL deserves a place in the forums as it would bring quite a lot of topics up as well as some people here surporting scotish clubs

I think adding a delete button would be cool so that if I make a post and make an ass out of myself, I can delete it rather than just being able to edit it.
Here's a few things I'd like to see:
* user option to disable signatures
* a larger font-size for the site, by default. OR a user-option to set the font-size.
I care more about the content and discussions as opposed to seeing the same signatures over and over. Right now, the signatures are visually heavier and it pulls away from the actual content of the posts.
One more thing:
* ability to use a plain-text mode instead of the WYSIWYG editor. Most of my posts just use plain text instead of all that Microsoft Word formatting stuff. I'll benefit more from the increase of page loading.
What do the rest of you guys think?

The editor does have many simpler (and faster loading) was it can present itself, and that's the direction I'd rather go.
If the user spent 10 seconds on the post and 2 hours on his signature and avatar, which is the real content?
