There is no denying that West ham is a club full of twists and turns. We have moments of both great fortune and great misfortune, often within the same season. One thing I have learned as a West Ham fan is to never be surprised. One season we can reach an FA cup final and the next we are fighting the threat of relegation. Many of you will totally disagree with what I am about to say, but if the completely ironic and turbulent theme that seems to have surrounded West Ham in recent years continues, my prediction may yet come true (although I hope it doesn't). I predict that Charlton will sign Alan Pardew as their new manager, and he will perform a "great escape" manoeuvre and keep them in the Premiere League. However, try as he might, Curbs will struggle to motivate the team at West Ham, who will be relegated at the end of the season. As a West ham fan I really hope that this isn't the case, but with the odd run of luck that our club has endured in recent times, I can't help but wonder if this will indeed be the case.
actually if you really want an ironic twist look no further than the manager triangle of charlton crystal palace and hull. charlton loose there manager they try to get peter taylor from hull, for some reason he doesnt go/doesnt get the job. charlton instead get ian dowie of palace. palace then get peter taylor of hull to replace dowie. after bad starts for all 3 clubs hull and charlton sack there managers. the favourite to become manager of hull is former palace and charlton manager ian dowie...
