How do you all think if Jose Mourinho could know that he would never ever again win the Champions League trophy would he continue his career? Well, my answer is "he would, but only to earn money and he would lost his old (current, if there is any) motivation and winning mentality". Briefly, he wouldn't be the Special One anymore. Looking at Chelsea chasing Man Utd in the league now I can see all the problems Chelsea has and they have been discussed here obsessively many times (ex: Ballack, etc.) This article is not about that, personally I think Chelsea has already gifted the title to the best performing team among 19, and my special praises goes to Sir Alex and co. From a different perspective one can think that Jose is not so interested (or not capable) in the league title anymore. He misses the Champions League trophy. And if we look at Chelsea's results overall this year the team hasn't lost to any other team on aggregate SO FAR. Thus, stunning late winners and even drawings with mediocre teams(in comparison to losing) may have a sense. So maybe Jose all this time has been preparing his "army" for a different mission, i.e. the Champions League. What do you think?
