With Man City pumping some cash into the club now and Sven Erikson managing can Man City threaten for a European place or even the premiership title? They have already made numerous signing and I expect to see more. Thoughts?
No i dont think so. The only team outside of the big 4 that can challenge for the title or challenge in Europe is tottenham. Erikson thinks he can buy everybody.
They can make the UEFA Cup but I don't think they'll make the Champions League. And they will never be able to mount a challenge for the title.

I think Citeh will be a major force once they bring in a decent Goalie and a couple of full backs, some centre halves, maybe about 4 midfielders and a couple of forwards as well.
I think that they will be having a pretty mediocre season like Man City always do. Maybe a few good wins here and there, but thats about it.
I think they may cause some upsets this season, but not within the big four. Maybe with Everton, Bolton, and Aston Villa (?), and Tottenham... the 5-10 teams.
