So has anyone heard about this? I have been getting Emails and hearing this by word out mouth. Nation wide, I assume a form of protest not to fill up gas on May 15th, this Tuesday. By trying to put a hole on those Middle Eastern oil fucks. Im interested to see if it actually works. If it plans out gas prices will drop. Im empty on gas, I will probably have to fill up tomorrow. I doubt it matters. Because I know many of you arent legal age of drivingEDIT: On May 15th dont post in the WNBA section

Lol, I'd do it, but 1. I dont drive. 2. One day isn't going to matter. If 90 percent of the people who drove did it for even just a week, then it may actually do something...but one day..cmon..

what's the price in your guy's area? On Maui it's up to about $3.72 per gallon now. It creeps up each day by 2 cents. :no3:

It's $3.28 here. I really don't get why the difference is so big throughout the country either.

Nice plan. They won't be suffering. People will just buy tons of gas the day before, or the day after.Big whoop.

If you get ran down by the cops just say you forgot. Surely the penalty can't be anything severe. Let's change the world together!

It's all over facebook, emails, forums, etc.The problem is that it isn't going to put a dent in gas companies, like has already been said. At most, they will see that people care about gas prices. They won't change the prices the next day though, obviously.

I find it odd that that no one has a reason for the prices going up. [IMG] Nothing is going on other than the war, but that hasn't changed anything. I remember prices here were $2.62 until hurricane katrina came along and the prices went up a dollar. What causes that?

What causes that?</div>The only reason why gas prices continue to rise is because the public is so dependent on gas/oil. People can blame the government or oil companies or OPEC for price gouging all they want but they have seen that the rise in cost had little to no affect on demand for gas from the public so they continue to milk everything they can out of it and will continue to until the public changes their consumption habits such as carpool, alternative transportation, working closer to home, less recreational driving, etc...
