Benni McCarthy has been in great form this season for Blackburn this year. Benni has scored 18 goals this season in all competition, thats an awesome record to have in a team that is probably classed as a mid table team (no disrespect intended). Benni as a Liverpool player, playing a long side a team that creates so many chances during matches could be a great buy. I think Benni could be a 30 goal season striker playing a long the likes of Gerrard, Xabi, Sissoko, Kuyt and the rest of the squad. I would be really interested in hearing everyone's opinion?
How many of his goals have been penalties, the striker I have been most impressed with this season apart from Drogba is Berbatov of Spurs, he is a class act, I didn't see him play against Chelsea or Manure but he looks a great player.
Liverpool has enough strikers already. Crouch, Kuyt, Fowler, Bellamy, Garcia. Why would you want anohter one! IMO he should stay at BlackBurn

He is a great player and knows were the net is but the amount of times he is offside is amazing, he is lazy at times and needs to work on that and he knows it. but he is class and i hope he stays.

Yes most certainly i feel that Mc Carthy will have something to prove for his upcoming World Cup debut, and does deserve a team that will recognize his higher potential.
