Whenever I play football (soccer) (especially outdoors), I get this terrible metallic taste in my mouth. I realize it can be lactic acid, but is it normal for it to happen every time I play?

Remove the foil wrapper off the gum before you start chewing.

Two of my friends are really into soccer, I can ask one of them if they know.

I looked online and there are dozens of reasons why you might be experiencing this symptom.

I guess you should ask your doctor.

I don't get this anymore. My diet has changed since I made this thread so it was probably down to a lack of a certain vitamin.
