I think pink looks good with black in any case (suit or striped polo's)...I just think wearing a bright pink tee to make a statement is unecessary. I don't think it's gay, just attention whoreish.</div>

Agreed just plain bright pink is a bit much. Now if it were something like this kit top I'll take immediate exception. Only I'm not a U.S. Palermo fan. [IMG]

Asdf, why owuld a straight man want to act gay? That makes no sense at all and I don't see the trend. Explain your logic in saying that.

well look at that show Queer Eye for the Straight Guy, look how they act and dress, the only difference between those guys and metrosexuals is that metros don't putt from the rough.

From what I've heard most of the guys they put on the show really need help with their image and they seem to do a good job. How is that wanting to be gay????

I just wanted to lighten the mood of this thread. Seems some posters aren't very fond of gay guys. Yea guys not girls. I mean of course, I would watch my back when there is a gay guy around, but other than that I wouldn't have anything against him.

I don't even honestly care if other people are gay or not. As long as a gay person isn't interfering in my life and making me feel uncomfortable, it's not really a problem for me...so why do so many people have such a big problem with it? What if a good friend of mine one day became gay? Would I abandon him as a friend just because he did so? Hell no. I guess I'd be surprised and might feel a little uncomfortable at first, but I don't think it's wrong to be gay, but it is wrong IMO when homosexuals try to thrust thier views on other people.

I think I wentoff-topic there but yeah, had to let that part out.

Yeah same here...however, I like to dress nice (not GQ nice, but preppy-gino nice lol) even in school days unless I stayed up studying the whole night or something. I'm pretty conscious about looks. If it's tryin to impress a girl, then of course it's time to bust out the GQ gear [IMG]

Like if I'm going to a 15's(big hispanic thing) or a sweet 16 then you better believe Ima make that suit look good. Nothing wrong with that, just trying to look good.

This isn't about looking presentable. Look at my previous post, I don't need to be labelled Metro to look good. I look good every time I go out, I am not obsessed with my appearance nor do I go to the extremes of facial make overs and what not.

I am talking about the gay guys on that show who do the make overs.

The difference between the gay guys and metrosexuals.

Do any of you have any gay friends? Because I have two. Both of which do not hit on guys unless they know they're gay. They act completely the same as any of my straight friends would in public. Most gay people I know act this way and I think too many people gain their perception of what gay people do based on television or the Internet much too often. Perhaps this thread should be closed to avoid more problems with those that defend/have no issues with gays and those that hate them.

I have no gay friends but I'm not a homophobe either. As long as their not hitting me then I don't really care.
