I'm the first to throw a ridiculous conspiracy theory out the window, but I find this one believable.

I decided to reply to this post because I want to set you guys straight. This "moon landing hoax" is a joke. Here is why:Over 40,000 people worked on the Apollo program, how in the world would you be able to keep 40,000 people quiet about a hoax? And why would you need 40,000 people to film a fake landing on the moon? It just doesn't make sense. If it truely was a hoax I'm 100% sure that atleast one of those 40,000 would go tell someone and get a bunch of cash out of it. They didn't because it was real. You people over-estimate the government's ability to cover things up. The government has so many leaks on simple things, how in the world do they keep that thing covered up for 36 years or more? It just doesn't happen. It's virtually impossible.By saying it was a hoax you are discrediting and disrespecting the men and women who risked their lives in space. Guys like John Glenn, Neil Armstrong, etc. Those guys were heros because they went where no man has gone before and here people are saying they are liars? Give me a break. You want some proof that we were on the moon? We have the Apollo 11, Apollo 14, and Apollo 15 retroreflectors on the Moon, which allow scientists to shoot lazers at the moon and then the light reflects back to earth. This allows them to tell the distance between the Earth and the Moon and those were put on the Moon during those Apollo missions. How did those get there? Did we throw them at the Moon and hope they "stick"? Give me a break.

This is a very interesting topic to talk about, however I think they did not land on the moon. I just watched a hour and a half video of this and im on the fake side more. There is no atmosphere on the moon so I dont think the flag can be moving, but if they moved the flag while they were putting it in the surface it might still be able to keep swining because of the gravity of the moon. I also saw some pictures that take took, if you zoom in on some of them the part cross-air is behind one of the astaurnauts and on another image there is half of the cross-air behind the American flag. I believe that the space shuttle they sent to the moon just orbited around planet Earth while the time they shot the video and the pictures. I heard that they did all the shooting of the pictures and stuff in Area 51.PS: I dint read any of the above so dont flame me. Peace

Well those are good points Mr. Wolf, I honestly don't know about the reflectors, I hadn't heard that before. Perhaps NASA lied to their own workers, I don't really know. As I said I haven't chosen a side on this issue, I was just playing devil's advocate.

How to you lie to your own workers? They know what is going on because they are working on it!

I don't know, I don't want to get too specific. It does seem ridiculous, but until someone can list me everything on that page and why they're wrong, I'll have my doubts.

is there actual proof that 40,000 people worked on the project or do they just say that they did??im kinda in the middle on this mainly becuz there is soo much evidence that proves we didnt go to the moon. But then again there was more than one mission to the moon so, ya start thinkin if all of them were faked but i doubt it.its possible that the first mission was faked in order to win the race with the russians for the first to reach it.

I think the man covered it up cuz he doesn't want us to have sex, cuz every time we do, he loses a piece of hair, and he doesn't wanna get bald. Yeah, that's my explanation for this.

of course they landed on the moon. Every 'conspiracy theory' that people have come up with has been proven wrong. The biggest thing to me that says they landed on the moon is the cover up. There is no way that they could have kept all the people that would have ben needed to stage a moon landing quiet. NASA had thousands and thousands of people working for it at the time, they would have known something if it was faked.

The time that we landed on the moon was a time that we were trying to beat out communism (Russia) in many things, mainly landing on the moon to show our superiority. If they lied about it, they are not going to admit it. There is evidence on the tape that it was staged. I believe that we filmed it in a studio.

Think about it people. If the space people went to such great lengths to fabricate this, do you really think that they would be stupid enough to include a rock that had a C on it? And do you really think that they would film on windy day, or would not check for a draft in the studio where they supposedly filmed it? People, please, think critically. Don?t accept everything at face value.

That gust of wind was big. There's not supposed to be wind on the moon. I really don't know what to think.

I thought landing on the moon was real before this year when my teacher told the class his theories about the matter. The fact that the flag was waving, they filmed Armstrong coming out of the spaceship when he was the first to "land on the moon", and the fact that they could make it look like space in a studio made me second guess myself. Now I dont know what to think
