After the shameful rioting by Italian fans leaving a police officer dead, the Inter Milan team have tried to follow suit on the pitch. After the final whistle in their 0-0 draw in valencia seeing them exit the competition Inter start kicking and punching any valencia players or associates in an act of disgraceful bad sportsmanship. In the melee the valencia sub keeper right hooks an Inter player flattening him and the fight goes on for about 5 minutes spilling off the pitch into the dressing room with players and officials on both sides involved. Surely Uefa have to come down with the full weight on their powers on these 2 teams. If it was an english team they would be up in arms! After the Lille debacle, the champions league is becoming a laughing stock of ill discipline. Surely we will hear alot more about this!!!!!
Can we get the valencian guy in the grey coat to face Ricky Hatton? He seems to have a mean hook (although there is some dispute it was actually a pot jab). By the way they played this game with a ball as well, bit boring really ended in a draw.
OMG your slow, I posted this like 10minutes before you Good fight though, nice to see something other than handbags at 10 paces. People were starting to think it was a weak sport.
Bear in mind it did seem to be a valencia player who started it, the last touch of the game was by a valencia player to an inter players noggin'. Also the punch up was one of the interesting facets of the game.. if the valencia players could run as fast as the chappie in the grey coat could after taking a swing at the milan player he could do well as a boxer. Perhaps we should bring in some rugby rules into football.. like rucks, mauls and scrums.
This game was in Valencia and it was the players right? But not all players are Italian so why is the Italians shamed it should be the club and players involved should be fined or some action took against them..
